Luxury footwear brand Kurt Geiger has joined forces with our very own Andy Hider MBE to launch People Empowered, a campaign featuring activists for disability, diversity, mental health and social justice.
The campaign, which also features activists from Black Minds Matter and CLIC Sargent, was shot in the activists’ own homes via Facetime. Kurt Geiger will be revealing new activists each week in the run up to Christmas.
“I think it is an amazing campaign”, Andy says. “I can only thank Kurt Geiger from the bottom of my heart for what you’re doing and for the privilege of letting me feature among these amazing people!”
Andy has dedicated 37 years of her life to fostering teenagers after coming across an advertisement for ‘Teen Care’, a fee-paying scheme for foster. Since then, Andy has fostered around 150 teenagers. Despite recently retiring from fostering, Andy continues to work with Amicus in training other foster carers.
