Hi! I’m Lewis, the Placements Officer here at Amicus. My role involves liaising with social workers, foster carers and local authorities to secure suitable placements for our young people.
I joined Amicus in September 2020, after an extensive administrative career working in education, engineering and the public sector. I was attracted to Amicus because of the opportunity to use my experience to help deliver better futures for young people and contribute to an obvious societal good.
Outside of the office, I enjoy writing fiction and comedy. I have been lucky enough to study at the National Film and Television School and have written on such radio shows as BBC Radio Four’s Dead Ringers. If you can’t find me at Amicus, or at my writing desk, I’ll either be spending time with my fiancé or talking to anyone about how excellent dogs are!
