No amount of information you read can truly highlight the highs, lows and realities of being a foster carer so why not have an informal chat with us and we can answer your questions and put you in touch with other foster carers who can share their stories and experience.
Your sense of humour, patience, commitment, warmth and skills will be nurtured and supported to be a foster carer for Amicus. Amicus, provide a high level of therapeutic support to you and your family and the young people you care for, including 24/365 support, an active Youth Service which encompasses our Complex needs service, and 3 weeks paid short breaks a year.
We recognise the challenges, but also the rewards that fostering brings and are on hand to support you to be part of a child’s journey.
